Start with people you already know. For each candidate, write the audience overlap, intention, priority, real relationship evidence, source link, and next useful action.

Look for repeated interaction, responses to your content, or prior use of your work. These are signals, not a formula. You decide whether the context is truly ready.

Agree the mutual value, responsibilities, timing, consent, boundaries, and owned destination. Do not copy old commission terms or promise a result.

Choose the person, give the value, judge readiness, write the first version, send personally, reply, agree terms, deliver, and decide whether to continue.
Borrowed to owned
You choose where the relationship can continue. It could be a direct conversation, profile, email list, useful asset, workshop, or another relevant next step. Consent and audience fit come first.
